I did send an e-mail but all I got back was a list of his credits which we all know anyway... I was hoping to get more info but did not... :(

I am not at all surprised about that one. He don't seem to be into not doing much about anything to do with his music. A bit of a shame, but ask him about Dr.Who the british tv series, and he will prob talk! He love the stuff.
That's a shame. I was looking forward to reading that.
Yes... I was really hoping he would answer a few questions about his long career from his 70s disco days right through to his 80`s HINRG period and what his current projects are... Love his music or hate it, he certainly made his mark on the dance music scene !!
I did try to get Ian on here to answer the many questions I know you all have. He seemed reluctant and I never pushed the issue any further.Originally Written by Energyguy
Why should he bother coming here when there are no opportunities for him to make money?![]()

Maybe we could lure him with the promise of snacks???Originally Written by SandraDee
PUNCH & PIE will be served (credit Eric Cartman--with knowing how to make the folks show up--promise 'em PUNCH & PIE!!!)

Harsh and silly I'd have said.Originally Written by straight acting
Anyone have any specific questions? I can only ask him.
I've just realised who "straight acting" is....oh dear !Originally Written by Simon White
That's too bad, I was looking forward to that. He's such a influential and controversial figure, it would be great to read more of his recollections on his career.
It is sad as, like it or not... he had a big influence on the HINRG genre and he has had an interesting career as both DJ/producer since the 1970s...you never know - we may eventually "lure" him on to the siteOriginally Written by gunbuck
My posting must have gone missing. If anyone has any specific questions I can ask him.Originally Written by gunbuck
