huge smash at my club.... both me and the saturday jock played this at peak hour for at least 4 months. I listed it at #1 for a week... there were too many good songs on at the time.
Hey all!
Anyone remember this track. I loved it back in the day (around 1980/1) and I'm about to pull it out to mp3 if I can locate it in the collection. Did anybody else like this track it was a big underground hit in London?
I remember that there was an LP which I never got at the time. Do people know if there were other tracks of comparable quality to Sweet delights?
As usual your help/opinions are much appreciated.

I went to high school with Tommy Woods. We use to party together. He gave me his first album and I had it framed. Its been hanging on my wall for over 25 years. My mom invested money in his 2nd album which I don't think they ever made

Great track on Tabu records, I love it. I have it on 12" US
This track was playing on the air in '81, not a huge hit but well known.
Like said previously, so many song of same caliber were released in the same period, Change - Paradise , Sho-Nuff - Tonite (Disco mix) etc etc
If you buy this record your life, will be better.
Yes I remember hearing it on the radio in Mtl.
I like that sort of sound.
If I remember correctly I bought this just because it was on Tabu Records !
The 1st SOS BAND Lp I got in NYC is to blame for this...

I love that track! I've got the 12" so when I recently saw the LP 'Universal Love' on CD I got it & I have to say I was very disappointed. The only other decent track other than Sweet Delight is the title track which is a lovely dreamy smoocher. Woods Empire were definitely 'one-hit-wonders'!![]()
...ya gotta beat the street......
I Like The Album. Well above average.
