    AM/FM a go-go track?

AM/FM's - You Are The One

has elements to be a go-go song... but it lacks some percussion IMO.

Also... does anybody have information if it's a male or female that is singing lead. It appears to be male.

    let's discuss

Sounds like a female voice to my ears.

    Definitely a male vocalist.

I figured it was a slower tempo go-go track, no different from Rare Essence's 'Body Moves'. It's not an all-out percussion explosion, but it does have the groove typical of a go-go track.

But I'm no expert on what exactly is go-go. I depend on other people's identification of this artist or that artist as go-go artists, Experience Unlimited, Trouble Funk, Chuck Brown & The Soul Searchers (Bustin Loose and onward), Rare Essence...

I looked up the information and I think it's male.

    R&B vocal group consisted of:

    Mike Hughes
    Gerard Butler
    Cleveland Battle
    Eric Talley

Dont know about the vocals but it was a big Boogie/Funk record in the UK in the 80s. IMO i dont think it was supposed to be or inspired by Go Go. I am just glad I obtained my copy back then.
