What's Your Porn Name????

This is a tired little game--I heard it first about ten years ago- BUT one night this week on Entertainment Tonight or Access Hollywood at the premiere of Steven Soderberg's "Full Frontal" they were playing this with the stars (Julia, Duchovny, etc.)

Anyway, you take your middle name and add the name of the street you were born on and voila!!! = Your Porn Name.

Now there are variations. Some say take your pet's name for the first name. Or the name of the street you live on now for the last name.

Well over the years I've lived on Main and Water in Wisconsin; Bush (!!!!), Geary, Caselli, and Liberty in SF; and Moreno, Hawthorn, Hancock and Hollywood in LA.

Middle Name: Rodney
Pet's Name: Buster
Street Name: Hollywood

So Rodney Hollywood, Buster Bush, Buster Hancock, Rod Hancock (Hey, I could be a Skatt Brother--"He's got a "rod" beneath his coat...well you know the rest")

I like Cole Gates. Maverick St. James sounds like a pimp and Trixie Gates sounds like a blonde hooker name.

Well, if you try the Middle Name + Mother's Maiden Name variation, "Graham Start" is my porno name!

I've never had any pets to speak of, so that option is out for me. However, I do plan on getting an English Bull Terrier someday, and naming him "Butchie"...

Unfortunately, my own porn name wouldn't be nearly as interesting, given the choices I have to work with.

Assorted pets' names: Rags, Snoopy (hey, I was a kid), Bean, Missy (!!!), Spike, Nubbin...
Assorted street names: Simon, Oak, Alderson, Tuscarora, 22nd (!)...

"Missy" is out of the question ("Missy Alderson" sounds way too Jewish) and "Nubbin" sends entirely the wrong message for a porn star so how about Spike Tuscarora?!

This is hilarious! But, I am having a real problem here as in Tokyo the streets have no names, but numbers. This would make me (and you choose):

If we go with pets, the cat is called "Floppy" as she has one of those wiggling belly's... And Laurens Floppy doesn't do it for me.

If I go with previous addresses, I can offer "York" (NYC) or "Kenway" (London). Neither lead to very inspirational names.

So I need help. Or a new home country. It looks like that might be Germanny within the next few months. HELP, I'll probably end up being Laurens Wurst...

This is sort of like what RuPaul did on his talk show years back on VH-1. He started this game called "Your Drag Name". You used the first name of your pet and your mother's maiden name. They even interviewed celebrities and asked them what their "drag name" would be.

Where I come from we do the porn name thing slightly differently - you take the name of your first pet plus the name of the first street you lived on.

This makes my porn name Brutus Coppard.
