OK .... I gotta explore this one with the board. True story :
One time I was at a store that had a roomful of used 45's and a listening station. Prior to wiping them for play I first blew on the vinyl . My thinking is to release any big potentially scratchable material off of there first.

The guy working there .... whom I would think would know quite bit about such things... came over and was adamant that this was not to be done .

For the life of me I can't think of how this would be harmful .....
unless someone had just eaten a mouthful of peanuts !!! :lol:

Agree ? ... did he have a point ..... or was the guy just having an odd day ?? ..... (and blowing a lot of hot air himself ?)
