    Dancing With The Stars

Just watched the 2nd season.... with 10 new celebrities... very enjoyable. Wonder who will be voted out tonight.

Master P - didn't put his heart into it and looked terrible. I feel sorry for Ashley his dance partner.

Kenny Mayne - An ESPN sportcaster, was too busy trying to get sympathy votes for his painfully (white boy) problem.

George Hamilton - is 66 years old. I don't believe he has the stamina that the older guy from last year does.

any of these guys should be voted out...

I watched it and enjoyed most of it. Drew Lachey really really burned up the dance floor with his Cha Cha Cha. The best dance of the night. Looks like this contest will be his to lose.

discoman.... he did have the best dance of the night... but after listing the potential of others. I really think everyone (with the exception of Master P will step it up.

I agree. He and his partner are number 1 now let's see who steps up to the plate.

I think Jerry Rice (IMO real close second), Tatum O'Neal and Giselle McKenzie are also potential winners

I can't believe I have to sit through another week of Master P.

How many times did Tatum remind us she's an actress?

Ha Ha Master P.... it's a shame Tatum was voted out... but she didn't step it up and went backwards.

Master P... you are a disgrace to the hip-hop scene... you are more worried about your thug reputation than giving it your all. When Ashley gave you some shoes to wear this week... your reaction by kicking them across the floor was absolutely unbelievable. I have zero respect for you.

I think it's a disgrace that Master P gets to continue on and Giselle who did a fine job gets kicked off.

The show is going to lose all credibility with it's viewers. It's not about talent, it's a popularity contest.

You're right about this show being a popularity contest - talent has nothing to do with it. If this **** with Master P continues I'm finished with it. The guy is embarrassing to watch and has no business being on the show. This **** about his hip hop authenticity is becoming a real pain in the ass. And to paraphrase Len Goodman; it's time Master P and "Dancing With The Stars" parted ways.

From some of the message boards and blogs I've read I wouldn't be at all surprised if Master P "wins" the contest. There is a concerted effort in action to assure such a disgrace.

If that happens I'll never watch another program on ABC (their programming sucks anyway so it wouldn't take much effort on my part).

Go to the "Dancing With The Stars" website itself and read the postings on the message board and blogs. If ABC continues with this travesty I'm done with it.

If Master P is a true gentleman he'll realize he can't dance for ****, give Ashley a big wet kiss and part ways with "Dancing With The Stars" and allow the free and fair competition to flourish. Rather than have his homies hand him a competition he doesn't deserve.

I hope ABC learns a lesson about allowing the rabble to take part.

I read some of the posts on the "Dancing" site and people are turning it into a racial issue. It isn't about race, it's about talent and Master P has no dancing talent.

What's the difference btw the Argentine tango and a regular tango?

It was mentioned a couple of times on the show the other night.

Pretty much everything. American or "Ballroom" Tango was changed from the traditional or Argentine Tango to be better suited for Ballroom competition - more formal or technical. Pretty much all of the Tangos danced on DWTS was American/Ballroom.

In Argentine Tango the dancers' posture is different, they are much closer to each other and the music can be different.

I think it has to do with the leg kicks... I saw a couple of times when he did it. It's also supposed to be more passionate... they just put a little bit of it in their dance.

If Master P doesn't get kicked off tonight, the show is a complete joke.

He's not even trying and I feel sorry for his partner who appears to be quite frustrated with him.

It's one thing to try and not do well, but he's making a mockery of the whole program. I think ABC was trying to appeal to a wider audience by having a rapper on the show, but it backfired in their faces.

all I can say is the quality of the dancers is much better than what we had last year.... dispute the Master P problem. I'm enjoying the show much more this year.

I agree, but ABC has to resolve this Master P problem and do something about the rabble calling in.

Perhaps a mixed judging panel of 3 pros and rep's. from the studio audience would serve everyone better.

I happen to catch this program last night and it was really a delight to see these folks applying some disciplined effort to an activity that is so romantic and artistic.

It's interesting to see how when the same basic dance principles are applied ....even the average Joe can pull it off and look pretty damn good .....but .... there is also that certain secret ingredient that makes particular dancers movements more heightened . It was always that way ..even on the disco dance floors. I always admired and enjoyed those particular dancers ( not myelf :( ) who had that extra degree of flare .

As for Pee Master .... who ever the hell he is .... he is so emblematic of this lifeless crap scene , where the most significant moves are bobbing while grabbing and hanging onto one's own crotch all night. Notice his unimpressive body form ..... the lazy Jayzee look ... Interestingly, all the ones who put in some serious work on their routines on this show ..... didn't seem to have that unfit look. Dancing can be a really good work out ....

But from what I saw .... the show itself really let him have it this week .... going out of their way to point out how much time everyone else put into their dancing ….. and how little he did.
    .

When they tried to press him on his lack of commitment .... instead of defending it ....he unabashedly started plugging his latest "musical" endeavor. Who could've thought it possible for someone to give crappers an even worse image......
Since half the points are based on the ratings of the judges ....I don't think all the phony votes in the world can recover him from an 8 out of 30 :P score

I felt sorry for his partner .... I think a good move would be to bring her back next season with a new partner.

what a relief! P and Ashley are gone! :D

I just have to say, the results show is just as entertaining as the competition. I've always loved behind the scene stuff on these reality shows. I hate the fact that people dis reality shows when competition has always been in my blood.

    back to the topic....

On a positive note on some early predictions....

I have a feeling America is gonna swing their vote towards Lisa if she continues to stay solid in her dancing. I just think people like comeback stories such as last year when Kelly Monaco went on to win it last year.

But the great thing about this year... so many of the dancers are quite good and have great personality and all of them want to win.

    this weeks performance in order:

    1. Drew Lachey
    2. Stacey Keibler
    3. Lisa Rinner
    4. Tia Carrere
    5. Jerry Rice
    6. George Hamilton
    7. Master P

because Tia doesn't have a huge fan base... she probably will be cut next week.

Master P seems like a nice guy, but I hope he didn't get hit in the ass on his way out the door.

I think you're right about Lisa. It's now a three way ( :o ) between Drew, Lisa and Stacy; with the edge going to Drew.
