Well, its an interesting piece of trivia for me anyway!
In 1991, the Rude boys hit number 1 on the r&b/soul charts with "Are you lonely for me." with the help of BET, MTV, or VH1.
I know a lot of posters are not familiar with soul post 1982ish but this group was from Cleveland and produced by Gerald Levert, son of Eddie from the O'jays.
It's definitely in line with an O'jays ballad. I'm jaded but I don't believe soul has ever died. On that, "I've got to know if you're with me"?
