    Remembering Izora Rhodes...

I had the distinct pleasure of "discovering" (if only for myself, cuz' I am sure LOTS of other have heard it)..."You Are My Friend" (Live) on the Sylvester's GH disc. Listening to the song you realize what a phenom pair of voices Martha & Izora have/had. Just wanted to say that she's still missed. That voice KNEW soul.

    R.I.P.

Izora was a class act with the great voice!

At least I can say that one half of Two Tons of Fun was just as good as one!

Ditto. The 5 or 6 times I worked with her she was just a joy. Martha on the other hand (and pre-Diva at that) was alway rude and annoying. I just chalked it up to jet/bus leg.
