Are Easy Going And The Passengers The Same Group?

I'm sorry to be thick here but after listening to Easy Going 'Baby I love you' after many months I can see a major similarity between The Passengers 'Hot Leather'. Tune wise not but the make up and sound of the records. Is it just the producer? I'm sorry I don't have the vinyl copies. Ooops!

Different groups from different producers, only the country of origin is the same, Italy. Passengers was an actual 2 woman 2 man vocal group that performed on numerous festivals, tv shows etc, in a distinctly elegant and sophisticated manner. Easy Going was a studio assembly, connected to famed euro film composer Claudio Simonetti.
