Taka Boom - Boomerang.. anyone heard this LP?

I've been very curious of Taka's work as of late, I find a lot of it to be quite underrated so I've been wondering about this LP ever since I heard a couple of tracks from it (from opposide ends of the spectrum, no less) a few years back.. One was a campy Hi-NRG track called "To Hell With Him" produced by none other than Bob Esty.. The other one was a real funk workout called "Love Party." It was released all over the world had some hits in some places apparently, but I've never been able to find a copy of the LP or, until just recently, any mp3s from the album..

I believe the album was originally released in the US on Prelude in 1983 or '84 and on Mercury in other parts of the world.. Just wondering if anyone here has heard this LP and knows if it's any good or not..

    hey..
Big Taka Boom fan here... She seems very popular over here in the UK as a guest vocalist on house tracks. I have a copy of the TO HELL WITH HIM track (Prelude promo 12")
I also have a 12" single called IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT which came e out on Polydor in `85 (and the album that came out the same year).

I really love "Middle Of The Night," both the song and the album.. I've seen CD copies of that album go for over $100 US on ebay :(. I'll admit I didn't care for "To Hell With Him" when I first heard it around 5 years back, but having just heard it again recently after a while, I actually enjoy it now :)

They should do a anthology/compilation for Taka just like what they've done for Jocelyn Brown, Martha Wash and Loleatta.. Put together some of her greatest recent house collaborations on one set and if they'll fit, perhaps a few of her old singles as well...

been listening to Night Dancin/Red Hot by Taka a lot...she's got such a voice. Really adds spark to somewhat ordinary arrangements. I don't think Night Dancin' would sound half as awesome without her wailing.
