It's lung cancer and now brain cancer. The report says he is not expected to survive for long and to make matters worse, his estranged wife has stolen a huge amount of his money. What a shame. I wish him the best and that he is able to recover fully.

Yes, very sad news indeed, and I read he's only 71. I hope he can beat that damn disease and I wish him all the strength.

This is a very ugly disease. I myself have survived a brush with cancer. I had beginning stages of Colon cancer as well as ovarian cancer 2 years ago and have fully recovered from it. My mother unfortunately did not. She died when I was 18 from cancer and 3 years ago my grandmother died of cancer (I was diagnosed while taking care of her) and more recently my other grandmother died of lung cancer. My whole take on the disease is don't stop the fight. No matter what those doctors say, you have a fighting chance as long as you have faith that you will get through it and recover with your life, your health and a whole new outlook on life. So I believe Mr. Rawls can fight and persevere.
