Nice that the charts are not for 100% filled with prefab non-talents but I recognise only 1 Disco-artist in this list: miss Donna Summer. The rest is pop, perhaps with the exception of Abba's "Hung up" with the Madonna-sample

Yesterday I experienced the masochistic experience of listening to "Secretions on the dancefloor". There isn't 1 (one) original idea or note on that piece of crap

Even not the stupid Dutch phrase "Ik ben droevig". Even that is completely wrong, she didn't even take the time to call for a decent translator. (but, yes, marketing-specialists probably predicted an amount of units sold in the Netherlands and Belgium).

And for a woman who in her early carreer denounced Disco as stupid and boring music, she is not very believable with her mission to revive Disco

Esther, you're the undisputed queen of fake!

yeah I find the new Madonna album to be overrated, though it's nice to see a somewhat euro-flavoured single like "Hung Up" doing well in the US outside of the dance chart..

Love the Eurythmics and the Donna Summer tracks.. I was a little ambivalent on the Eurythmics single, but it's really grown on me... I think the CD maxi single for the Donna Summer track will be released on Dec. 20th.. Can't wait for that! It seems to have been doing well, with relatively little push from the label (AFAIK).. I hope that means there may be an album on the horizon..
