    Sadomaso Disco

Going back thru the archives here, I happened upon a discussion about 'sleazy' music. I won't start that discussion again but it did remind me of a lovely little ditty from 1979 called Sadomaso Disco. I recall seeing the 12" single's cover but does someone remember the artist? I heard it a couple times back then mixed into a radio dj's disco set but can't recall if it was all that great.

The artist was Must. I didn't think it was all that great, being rather silly and musically unmemorable. Definitely a novelty record.

Thanks Graham...I figured that it wasn't that great or I would have picked up the 12". I was thinking it was along the lines of the Flying Lizard's Money or something like that. I do recall a low male voice repeating the words "sado....maso...disco" and the sounds of whips and moans. (No wait...that was my last boyfriend  )

    One for the collectors!

Picked this up for $12 bucks used. The cover is cute, the song pretty dire. There's someone singing "You like the whip" and someone who sounds like Satan The Lounge Lizard singing "Oooh baby you like ittttt" and then REALLY heavy whip sounds. Um, not something I'd play unless I wanted to get a rise out of people, as in, a chuckle...not the more erotic rise ha ha

At home this track sounds nothing special but in a big club with a powerful sound system it really works. Myself, I got whipped with a belt to the beat of "Sado Maso Disco" on a stage during a disco party last year, in front of 600 people no less. Took it like a man.
