I just watched the season premiere of "Sex" for the 3rd time in as many days. I LOVE this show. I loved the promos using Odyssey's "Native New Yorker" that were running for the past month as much as their use of "More, More, More" last year. Hard to believe "Native NY" hadn't been used before--as it is THE perfect song for this show.
Anyway, in the episode running this week the girls go to a "Fleet Week" party (sailors on leave in NYC) and a live cover band plays nice covers of "Shining Star" (EW&F), "Feelin' All Right" (Traffic/Joe Cocker) and best of all, a sexy version of Al Green's arrangement of "Can't Get Next To You". Then, in the final scene Otis Redding's version of "Try a Little Tenderness" is played in it's entirety.
Great music!!! Great show!!!! Catch it if you can!!!!
