Also look at Amazon although it shows a release date of 2011! Must be a typo.
For anyone out there that has been looking for Silvetti on CD, a seller on Ebay has both of the Salsoul LP's on Unidisc CD's. I have received them, they took awhile to arrive, but they did arrive, and they sound great to these ears. As far as I can tell they are not bootlegs. I have been looking for these on CD for years. glad to get them. The sellers Ebay ID is: MOOKEE420
there is another seller selling bootlegs on Ebay and if I remember correctly he goes by: SHAK
avoid his CD's as they are taken from vinyl and not very clean copies either.
Also look at Amazon although it shows a release date of 2011! Must be a typo.

I saw that as well, but it says it a Japanese import and hasn't been released yet. Odd to put up a listing that won't be released for another 5 years.
Glad to hear they're of good quality.
I was surprised to find out a few months ago that Unidisc released a whole bunch of Salsoul LPs on CD. But for whatever reason, aside from a few select places online (like ebay, archambault.ca), they're not widely available through the conventional places (amazon.com, cduniverse etc..)
I would recommend trying samtherecordman.com. They are a Canadian based company. They have most of those Salsoul Unidisc CDs listed on their website, although the search function doesn't let you look for CDs by label. They're all about 15.99, which is in Canadian.
Their reissues include:
Bunny Sigler - Let Me Party With You; I've Always Loved To Sing; Let It Snow
First Choice - Delusions; Hold Your Horses; Breakaway
Double Exposure - Ten Percent; Fourplay; Locker Room
Instant Funk - Self-titled 1979 album
Moment of Truth - self-titled
Love Committee - Law & Order
Loleatta Holloway - both 'Loleatta' albums (1976 and 1979); Queen of The Night; Love Sensation
Salsoul Orchestra - all of the albums including How High and Heat It Up
Candido - Dancin and Prancin; Candi's Funk
Joe Bataan - Mestizo
Eddie Holman - Night To Remember
B-H-Y - Self titled
Edwin Birdsong - Funktaztik (includes instrumental mix of Rapper Dapper Snapper!)
Metropolis - Greatest Show On Earth
Carol Williams - Lectric Lady
Charo - the Dance A Little Bit Closer LP, and Ole Ole
They don't have the Bebu Silvetti stuff listed, but you could try emailing them to see if they can order it. I managed to get a few of those CDs from Unidisc by contacting them, even though they weren't originally listed on their website.
Spring Rain's Undisc code is SPE2432, Worlds Without Words is SPE2431, if you're planning on getting both.

^ Thanks Disco Funk! :)
I checked Sam's website a few months back and they didn't have them, I'm glad to see they do now and at a decent price too. I think in addition to your list, I remember seeing reissues for all the other Salsoul Instant Funk albums, the Carol Williams - 'Lectric Lady and Metropolis - Greatest Show On Earth LPs as well. I think I'd better make a list..
Yes, I forgot those latter two. I'll add them to my list above. I went through my stuff yesterday and found a few other CDs they reissued that I forgot to mention. Most of them are worth getting because they've put on the 12" mixes. Also, if you aren't aware, Unidisc put out a series of CDs called Salsoul Disco Classics. 4 sets of 2 with 12" mixes of many Salsoul tracks. Thankfully, a lot of those 12" mixes also appear on the CD reissues, like the 12" mix of 'You Got Me Hummin' is on the Undisc CD reissue of their LP.Originally Written by neonlights

I think I know which ones you mean. Are these the ones listed here? I was thinking of getting those until the album reissues came along.. I'm not sure if the tracklists are identical, but recently along with the albums, it seems they did a series of double CDs called "From The Salsoul Vault." I remember seeing a few on ebay recently. They had vols. 1,2,4 & 5 at samtherecordman.com. I just wish they had the tracklistings up :-?Originally Written by Disco Funk
Yes, those are the 12" Disco Classics I was referring to.Originally Written by neonlights
As for the Salsoul From The Vault, I don't recall seeing them before! Here's a website with the CDs and track listings:
Salsoul From The Vault
They don't say what the time lengths are, but they do have audio samples. I have a feeling these are just the same versions that I already have from the various other Salsoul CD comps I've collected over the years.
