Sometimes long disco songs can be tedious to listen all the way through. What are some dance tracks that you can listen to from beginning to end without wanting to skip to the next song after several minutes?
Mine are:
Disco Inferno - The Trammps (approx 11 min)
Love To Love You Baby - Donna Summer (approx 17 min)
Disco Extravangza - GB Experience (approx 13 min)
Love's Coming/Baby Love - USA European Connection (approx 12 min)
Love In C Minor - Frankie Crocker (approx 10 min)
Turn On To Love - Jumbo (approx 17 min)
Cocomotion - El Coco (approx 11 min)
Disco Funk
Two Hot For Love (LP Mix) / THP Orchestra

I never get tired of listening to the full fifteen plus minutes of Giorgio Moroder's 'Evolution'....and the Love Is The Ultimate Medley by Ultimate runs for a nice fourteen and half minutes of pure bliss too.
My favourite dance tune that clocks in at just under twelve minutes, however, is actually a 90's track: 'Dance In Neon Light' by Barbara Doust remixed by Tom Moulton!
I agree about EVOLUTION (I never tire of that one) :D :D :D ...but most of these songs that go on for 15+ minutes are Toooooooooooooo Loooooooooong for me. After 10 minutes..it's usually time for a new record. Just my opinion...now a 3 song Gloria Gaynor or Donna Summer medley is a different thing. They work perfectly...but the same song gets tiresome..... :P :(
Besides alot of those mentioned,
American Gypsy "I'm OK, You're Ok"
Ray Martinez "Lady Of The Night"
Paul Jabara "Disco Wedding/Honeymoon In Puerto Rico"
Ferrara "Love Attack Medley"
Erotic Drum Band "Love Disco Style"
Cerrone "Love In C Minor" "Supernature"
Issac Hayes "Don't Let Go"
Taana Gardner "When You Touch Me"
Kongas "Africanism-Gimme Some Loving"
Tantra "The Hills Of Katmandu"
Patrick Cowley "Megatron Man" and "Megamix Medley"
Needlefingers
THIS TIME BABY....Jackie Moore
TRY ME I KNOW WE CAN MAKE IT.....Donna Summer
GREENLIGHT/POW WOW....Corey Daye
TRY IT OUT.....Gino Soccio
ARE YOU READY.....Kano
LIGHT MY FIRE.....Amii Stewart
STARS.....Sylvester
VERTIGO/RELIGHT MY FIRE....Dan Hartman
GROOVE ME....Fern Kinney
The entire Love To Love You Baby??
Wow, that's TOO much for me.
How about--
That Move On Up Suite
Dr Love
San Francisco/Hollywood
One of those Voyage albums.
That Marlena Shaw, Diana Ross Song Medley.
The Close Encounters 12" Who did that? Wasn't it on Atlantic??
Should I give 'Disco Symphony' by Lightning a chance?
One's that come to mind for me:
Saturday Night Band - Touch Me On My Hot Spot
Wonderland Disco Band - Wonder Woman Disco
George Bussey Experience - Disco Extravagana
John Davis & The Monster Orchestra - The Magic Is You
Tantra - The Hills Of Katmandu
Munich Machine - Get On The Funk Train
Love Symphony Orchestra - Let Me Be Your Fantasy
discohunter
TJM- I Don't Need No Music (it's 9:40, so sue me)
Jupiter Sunset Band- Disco Rhapsody
Alec Costandinos- Simon Peter Suite
Demis Roussos- L.O.V.E. Got A Hold On Me
The version I've got is 5:08....is there an extended as well?Originally Written by discohunter
the 12" version of Barbra Pennington's "24 Hours a Day" is my favorite. The strings and the many false endings are full of suspense and quite thrilling. But it's about 45 seconds under 10 minutes. No matter though, it is overwhelming...
I'm with you OSF ..... this song still strongly resonates within my disco core .... just has a special disco flavor all its own ( & powerful up front strings and vocals ) . Transports me back to Studio One in LA every time 8) :) ....Originally Written by ol'skinflint
The one song I remember as being especially stretched ( maybe just under ten though ) ..... yet it still seemed like every second of the song mattered .... was "HIT AND RUN " Loleatta Holloway . Listened to it all the way through every time . It was my drive around with the top down song during its summer of dominance ..... Sassy and confident ..... it elevated the Salsoul sound .....

^ Wow! I completely forgot about the Walter Gibbons mix of Hit & Run.. Love that mix!
one more to add:
Love Symphony Orchestra - Let's Make Love In Public Places..
