Re: "Come On Dance, Dance" by The Saturday Night Band

Over here in the UK i always get a buzz when a disco track is played i personally cannot remember the last time come on the dance dance by saturday night band was played on the radio. Most of the music of old is the same tracks played on air and the modern music dont interest me my skin dont tingle and i dont get that inner great feeling anymore.
im so greatful for disco music, i prefer come on the dance dance than the later i suppose it was because i did not hear the second album until i bought it 5 years ago.

This is one of my all time favourate disco tunes. If I was at a club, or all-dayer somewhere in the UK in 1978 when this came out (standing around talking to someone, waiting to get served at the bar), would drop every thing and run for the dance floor when I heard that conga and bass line intro, musical heaven....LOL!
Also tracks like Charles Earland : "Over & Over" and "Let The Music Play", Taste Of Honey : "Boogie Oogie Oogie". Al Hudson : "Spread Love"
DJs like Ian Levine, Colin Curtis and Ian Dewhurst were the guys I would follow for musical direction....
