Jackie Moore "How's Your Love Life Baby"

I guess it is OK for a thematic follow up to "This Time Baby" but wow...where the other song was all dramatic buildup and sparse arrangement, this is just meh, sort of overdone. Her voice is great but I can't tell the difference between her and Candi Staton on this cut.

Any fans of this song wanna give me their feedback?

"Love Life" was a solid track but not single material. It failed to make a dent on R&B radio. If the label was looking for a second release to keep up the momentum of "This Time Baby," choosing the disco re-make route seemed the wrong decision. I thought the lp was solid enough that several good follow-up options were available: "Can You Tell Me Why" would've continued the sound of the first single, or "Let's Go Somewhere And Make Love" struck a completely different, romantic and light-hearted note.

I enjoyed her mid 70's recordings more. I always thought of "This time baby" as an O'jays record.

"How´s your love life baby" is a really good song! I love it!

Greg Perry also recorded a splendid version..it´s one of his best songs...it´s more modern soul than disco though..
