I love that song, it's a beautiful song just like Barry's other sweet disco love songs.
The Maestro, Barry White.
This was tough but as of tonight I'll go with "Your Sweetness Is My Weakness."
Find them and destroy them!
I love that song, it's a beautiful song just like Barry's other sweet disco love songs.
Australia mate! The land of many great funkateers!
Love's Theme gets my vote. This track set the standard for disco IMO.
OOOHHH NO! What are you doing - this is IMPOSSIBLE!
OK, calm down, and let's see. I think I will select "I'm gonna love you just a little bit more baby" because that was the first song I heard from Da Man on a pirate radio station back in the mid 70's.
It was this song, and his music, that turned me to disco/dance music and made me a Barry White fan to the degree that I now have virtually all of his works.

I like all of Barry Whites music, but for some reason "Let the music play" it's the one song that I could never play enough, I think it is a perfect blend of 'soul' and 'Disco', even the cow bell has soul.
My favorite Barry White song is "I'm Gonna Love You" (1973). With his Love Unlimited Orchestra, it's "My Sweet Summer Suite" (1976) and "Love's Theme" (1973).

My Sweet Summer Suite

My favorite Barry soul-tune:
PLAYING YOUR GAME BABY
My favorite Love Unlimited Orchestra tune:
STRANGE GAMES AND FUNKY THINGS.
My favorite Barry White made soundtrack: TOGETHER BROTHER
(very funky & heavily sampled. The theme from together brothers is original for 90's hitsong 'comon ride that train' by Quad City dj's)

I'm going to go with "Can't Get Enough Of Your Love, Babe".
"What Am I Gonna Do with You"
"It's Ecstasy (When You Lay Next To Me)"
and "You're so Good, You're Bad"
"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
HONEY PLEASE CANT YA SEE
HOW DID YOU KNOW IT WAS ME
YOU SEE THE TROUBLE WITH ME
LET THE MUSIC PLAY
I'm still crazy for his arrangement and cover of "STANDING IN THE SHADOWS OF LOVE". After that, the list would be:
IT'S ECSTASY WHEN YOU LAY DOWN NEXT TO ME
NEVER EVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP
YOU'RE SWEETNESS IS MY WEAKNESS
PLAYING YOUR GAME, BABY
IT'S ONLY LOVE, DOING IT'S THING
Please note: The choices don't include titles under LUO or it would be a lot longer.
Love Has No Time or Place

I also like a Barry White produced song by Gloria Jones called “Just as long as we are together”(74) on Casablanca Records, this song has that classic love unlimited orchestra sound, I was wondering if it was ever released on LP or 12", anybody?
I Also have another cut on a CDR by Simon Said called “Love Song” (75), this song sounds just like Love Unlimited (girls), Does anybody Know if this song was produced by Barry White ?
Mixmachine,
My reference book shows "Love Song" was released on Roulette Records in 1975. It was a cover of a song previously charted by Tommy James at #67 on the Pop Chart in 1972.
The group is only referred to as "a female vocal group"--BUT since Love Unlimited were at their peak on another label, I would guess Simon Said were only a soundalike group, NOT L.U. moonlighting on another label.
Just a hunch, though. I never heard the song.
"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
