Mas, many of the "Grade-Z" exploitation films had decent dance tracks on their soundtracks. The problem is finding the soundtracks, 12", etc.
1) FRIDAY THE 13th PART 3 - the title song was released on 12", I'm sure of that. The track was the best part of the movie.
2) WILD AND BEAUTIFUL ON IBIZA - had a catchy tune entitled "Jet Set".....no info on the soundtrack.
3) GAS PUMP GIRLS - this drive-in classic starred Huntz Hall (from the Bowery Boys series). It is very similar to VAN NUYS BOULEVARD, and had a couple of decent disco-pop titles on the soundtrack.
4) NOCTURNA - We've talked about this one often on the board. "Nighttime Fantasy" by Vicki Sue Robinson and "Love Is Just A Heartbeat Away" by Gloria Gaynor are the standouts. If you see it, grab it!
I'll try to think of some more.....
