Put me down as a very definite fan of this fantastic piece of groove dance music. Shame about the piss poor production (sounds like it was recorded in a VERY CHEAP studio) which is sooo typical of many of P&P's releases. However, to a large extent it's the rawness of the toon that endears it to me. If they'd tried to 'sweeten it up', it might have ruined it.

Give me more records like this and I'd be a happier man.

I like the instrumental B side FAR better than the vocal side-- the cheesy harmonizing and simplistic lyrics just highlight the low-budget aspects of the recording. By the way, the title's actually New York's Movin'. And who WAS Osborne "Ahzz" Hunter-- did he do any other work?

I've never heard the 'A' side as I've only discovered this track in past few years. Sounds like I'm lucky to just know the instrumental side. I can imagine how poor the vocals might be.
