Katie Holmes Gives Up Acting-Weddingdate: 21 October 2006!

Katie Holmes has announced that she will stop acting and that she wants to be a full-time mum. 24/7 caring for her exspected baby and husband Tommie De La Cruise is her next goal.

Yep, it's not easy to nurse 2 babies at the same time :o

Oprah was intervied on "Extra" this weekend and asked about Tom's strange behavior on her show...and she seemed to imply she was as baffled by his act as everyone else was....she tactfully said she didn't quite know what to make of it and left it at that. She doesn't want the Wrath OF Cruise upon her, I guess. :lol:

Ha Ha Ha Ha!! :lol: But what puzzles me is ...What career? After Dawsons Creek she was pretty much done anyway. To each his own I guess. Wonder what'll happen when they divorce...Katie and Nicole will fight over child support payments? :-?

She had a carrer? who where? she was like the flash when it came to career or is her career just starting? Are we in some type of twilight zone shows where the movie stars are the viewers and us regualrs are famous but dont know it because then i would buy it that she actucally had a care :) er HAHAHAHAHAHA :P :lol:

But don't forget Katie was the female lead in the Batman Begins movie that was released last summer. Granted she may have been the weakest acting link in that cast of heavy-hitters (Gary Oldman, Liam Neeson, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Tom Wilkinson, Rutger Hauer..but to think she didn't beat out a hellava lotta young Hollywood actresses for that part is sheer ignorance. (Actresses would kill their mothers for the lead in a big movie like that. Ask Faye Dunaway.) :P

Don't forget Go, Wonder Boys, & Pieces Of April also. She was considered quite promising. Many had hopes of her becoming a young Sally Field...but she gave it up for "love"....we'll see. :roll:

Kelly Preston arranged to keep her status as a MOVIE actress by playing the "wife/girlfriend" or "mom" roles that Hollywood A-list actresses didn't want to play. Once producers had been turned down by the Top 50 actresses in her age range ("uh Cate Blanchett is passing")--they got to Kelly Preston and she says "why yes I'd love to be the Mom in "Cat In The Hat" or "Mrs. Frost" in "Jack Frost." Thanks for thinking of me!! Thanks for asking." :lol:

And then the Scientology ties don't hurt...the role in "Jerry Maguire" helped get her re-established in A-list movies again...and we all know the Cruiser, fellow Scientologist, musta helped that along.....look at her filmogtraphy before that film pulled her outta the supporting cameo type turns she was doing circa 1993-1995. I'm surprised she didn't end up in a bad sitcom like Lea Thompson or Brooke Shields did. :P

Yesterday, Tom has apparently said that he will not marry Katie before she has the child. So the festivities will not be before next summer.

Maybe around the time that "Mission Impossible III" is released, mmmmh? (Publicityyyyyyyyyyy :o)

Well, I called Tommie today and he told me that 21st october 2006 is THE day that he will marry miss Holmes. For those who want to contribute: there's already a wedding list ta the Neiman Marcus store in Beverly Hills.
