Yes she did every Discomove that's in the book. Don't forget that she was a dancer for Patrick Hernandez BITD so she has some :o Disco background I suppose but she doesn't fool me.

I've seen her change too much over all those years and for her it's not a Bowie kinda thing. It's (very good) marketing and I doubt very hard that in Madonna's case it comes from the heart.

Example? After she did the New Age "Frozen" she gave interviews where she said she couldn't believe that the person in the "Erotica" clips was her. "Gosh-Who is she? I don't know that person! I'm the new mystical Esther!" Some time after she got in a pimpmobile with Ali G and semi-nude lapdancers. That woman's views on life are fake.

And most people buy it from her. Cool! I don't! :o

Please no more discussions about MTV or MTV programming.

If any MTV staff happen to be reading this I hope you and your network burn in hell!

I liked the house you all used in your 1970's reality show but overall the series sucked.

I hope with all of the advances in technology your network becomes less relevant to the youth thus causing your network to go bankrupt and all of your staff loses their jobs.

There are other things I wish upon your network but I will keep them to myself out of respect to the rest of the members of this website forum.

Whoah!!! Where I come from this is 'blue touch paper already lit and burning down' kinda talk.
I'm waiting for the explosion and the dirty fumes to envelope the atmosphere.

    So........what's your beef with MTV?

Well reading today's critics of the "Confessions on a dancefloor" CD which was sold here yesterday in Belgium in a world exclusive can be categorised as "Grand Theft Disco Featuring Madonna".

Although many say that this is not a bad album they stress the fact that almost every song is based on a sample or a groove from the great classics. In other words it's a recycling thing and that's what bothers me the most.

The absolute lazyness of today's artists. Malcolm McLarianism is the new political correctness in recordindustry.

And for MTV? Is this a televisionstation? I watched it this week, just by coïncidence and I saw a show that had 8 minutes of music and then 17 minutes of publicity and trailers for programs to come.

Let's face it they just need some fillers between all their ads and the rest of the time they're kissing the feet of the Hip-Hop gangsters.

I think I'm gonna Elvis my televisionset one of these days

I saw a quick clip of Madonna recently (from a video) & it looked like she was paying homage to "Saturday Night Fever", & Karen Lynn Gorney's character when she was practicing in the Brooklyn dance studio. Am I correct?? What song is it??

Yes, you're correct...it's her new song and video 'Hung Up'. It's the one that samples heavily from Abba's 'Gimme Gimme Gimme'.
