Several questions

Hello.

I am trying to discover title and artist
of the following songs. Here are the words
that I can remember from these songs:

1) A kind of soft rap (1982???) saying:
"It's in the air - it's everywhere,
it's on the ground - it's all around,
it's in my mind - ... "

2) A kind of funky/R&B (1984?) saying:
"I have been thinking about what you
have done to me ..."
"Why did you do it? What did you do
that thing to me?"

3) A meloding song (1982?) saying:
"Desire, you're driving me crazy with
Desire, I'm burning I'm burning with
Desire..."

4) Two raps that probably were the first
successful raps after "Rapper's delight"
by Sugarhill Gang.
It was a big gang with a good piano,
I can't remember the words, may be
somewhere "Break it out, break down..."

The name is Strech, Why did you do it.

Actually the name of the band is Stretch. "Why did you do it" came out in 1976! So it might be another one, or a cover. The lyrics you describe certainly sound like Stretch. The male singer sounds like he is on serious whisky and/or drugs...
