    Rhythm Heritage

Did they release any music other than the albums "Disco-Fied," "Last Night On Earth" (one of my faves) and "Sky's The Limit" and the B side of "Theme From S.W.A.T," "I Wouldn't Treat A Dog (The Way You Treated me)"? Any 12 inches? Anything ever on CD? Were they strictly a studio act or were they ever on stage or TV? I know Michael Omartian went on to do lots of other stuff, from more dance music to Christopher Cross.

As far as I know they were strictly a studio act. Soime of the members, most notably the drummer Ed Green, was also the drummer for Barry White's Love Unlimited Orchestra.

I don't believe they did any 12"s. As for their 45s, they also had longer versions of Theme From SWAT and I think Discofied, but they were extended using edits rather than completely different mixes.

As for CD releases, I haven't seen anything released in terms of a Best of. Theme From SWAT (the long version from the 45) was released on Kurtis Blows History Of Rap Vol.1 and the short single edit was on one of those Television's greatest hits CDs from Rhino. I think there was another breaks and beats CD with Theme From SWAT. There was CD compilation called Playtime, which I think was made in the EU, which had '3 Days of The Condor'.

Thanks, Disco Funk! And this "3 Days Of The Condor" movie theme was also by Rhythm Heritage? It must have only been on that collection.

They recorded that track on Discofied, their first LP. They did a lot of TV/movie themes during the course of their careers. They also did a cover of the Baretta theme on Discofied.
