I'm guessing that's a US chart, but most of those songs were in the UK charts at about the same time.
This was the Top 10 during that much-ubiquitous phrase "Death Of Disco":
1. "WOMAN IN LOVE"-Barbra Streisand
2. "ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST"-Queen
3. "HE'S SO SHY"-Pointer Sisters
4. "LADY"-Kenny Rogers
5. "REAL LOVE"-Doobie Brothers
6. "THE WANDERER"-Donna Summer
7. "UPSIDE DOWN"-Diana Ross
8. "NEVER KNEW LOVE LIKE THIS BEFORE"-Stephanie Mills
9. "I'M COMING OUT"-Diana Ross
10. "MASTERBLASTER"-Stevie Wonder
I'm guessing that's a US chart, but most of those songs were in the UK charts at about the same time.
I like every song on that list (yes, even Kenny  ). There's a nice range of songs that could appeal to wide variety of tastes -- which is what Top 40 radio should be all about. And the level of talent reflected on that list speaks for itself.
Compare to the current Billboard Top 10:
1. Gold Digger - Kanye West
2. Run It - Chris Brown
3. My Humps - The Black Eyed Peas
4. Soul Survivor - Young Jeezy featuring Akon
5. Photograph - Nickelback
6. We Be Burnin' - Sean Paul
7. Like You - Bow Wow featuring Ciara
8. Because of You - Kelly Clarkson
9. Shake It Off - Mariah Carey
10. Sugar, We're Goin' Down - Fall Out Boy
I kinda like the Sean Paul song, but by and large this is a load of crap.

Take # 6 out and this chart would be perfect!! Yes, compared to this weeks Top 10, the only one I like today is the Black eyed Peas song. BUT!!! I'm sure that today's youth think this is the best top 10 just like us when we were that age.:)
