'Tales of the city'

Please help. I am trying to identify a track heard on the 'Tales Of The City' DVD which does NOT appear on the soundtrack CD. I know the song -used to have the cassette way back when - but I can't remember the title of the track or the artist. The track is playing during the scene when the character Michael Tolliver is waiting to go on stage at the 'End Up Club' for the dancing competition. The contestent before him is dancing to the track that I REALLY want to identify. Thanks a million!!!! Clifford. (P.S you'll have to listen carefully over the dialogue but the track IS easily discernable for those with disco ears).

Im pretty sure its Cherchez La Femme- Dr Buzzard's Original Savannah Band!

Yes It Is!!!! I just couldn't remember and your absolutely right. Thanks so much, I can now try and track down a CD. Dr Buzzards Original Savannah Band - how could I have forgotten?

I found it on a CD called More Monty music from and inspired by the motion picture Full Monty.

RCA Victor BMG. 09026-63357-2

Its time is 5.40 on this CD.
