Song ID help needed

It is an Italo disco style song from the 80's.
A male vocal, can compare with FR David, Savage or Gazebo.

Partial lyrics sound somewhat like that:
It was a simple story
But no one wants to know it

Please, help!
I am sure I have heard this song many times before but I don't remember the artist.

Judging by his Western European accent, the singer must be from France or Italy.

This is neither Italian nor French, it's Swedish.

Your singing isn't that bad really as I heard what it was although Ola Håkansson of the band Secret Service does it better, no offence. The title of the song is "When The Dancer You Have Loved Walks Out The Door".
