another title of contempo uk records

In the seventies I had some records of the contempo label from uk, Boogie Man Orchestra, Ultrafunk, Oliver Sain, etc. and there was one with a short title, I don´t remenber, may be "The crow" or "Hold on". May be somebody of you knows something.

hi SABORIOCA ahh contempo records what a great label that was it was owned by john abbey founder of blues and soul magazine 1968 to present. they released all kinds of black music deep soul,northern soul,disco,funk the lot! they even released kool and the gangs very first single in the u.k. they released a few 12" singles too all are pretty rare as the runs vere very low. you are asking about a record the crow there was a record BY "the crow" called" your autumn of tomorrow" but that wasnt released by contempo it came out on the right on label in 75 a dance record but with a slight rock edge that had plays on the northern soul scene. a contempo record with a short title how about "breakaway" ernie bush a great dancer with lots of vibes and strange lyrics about the devil and voodoo! i was d.j.ing at a northern soul night in my home town a year or so ago we were having a great night and i threw that on for the hell of it and the crowd flipped! released in 75

Hi Discodisk, you surprise me, you name things that reminds me that good times, yes, is your autum of tomorrow, I can´t believe it.
I also remember Breakaway of Ernie Bush,like Seven seas and others, but only the name, no the music, I wish to hear that music, sure that I recognize. During the seventies I used to listen to Radio Luxenburg, based in London and I got the magazine Black Music, that helped me to read about the new soul singles, the uk and usa soul list, before the 12" era. It was an excitant time.
