Just 'rocked' a crowd!!

I have a residency in a Pub (not even a bar) in North London - I play there once a month, usually to a crowd of no more than 40 or 50 people (its usually slow in this part of London in a Friday). I have been doing it for 8 or 9 months and it is for me an excuse to play my music loud!! My Disco Soul buddies usually come out and there are always a few House music producers & DJ's that come down to hear the music. Anyway tonight it was ABSOLUTELY HEAVING - there must have been 200+ people packed in there. A real mix of nationalities, but mainly mid 20's people and towards the end (the licencing laws in the UK do not permit dancing on a pub unless they have a licence extension) I had about 100 people up dancing to Disco...it was total magic. A random Polish guy (just arrived and a DJ in his home country) came with his bongos and sat by the speakers and played constantly for 2 hours. Just wanted to share that with you guys (and girls). Awesome stuff.

Looking forward to the next one - always the last Friday in the month. I'll post the details when I come off cloud 9 8)
