Mr. Levine, have you met Ms. Joli? :-?

You've got something in common. :P

He didn't exactly go from a hunk to a chunk. So it's not as drastic & shocking as France Joli's appearance.

I'd only want to say to Ian Levine

that Barbra Pennington's "24 Hours a Day" is my favorite 12" of all time. The strings, the false endings, the vocals, the whole SONG just knock my socks off! And it has a timeless lyric: "Twenty four hours a day, no matter what time it is, I can't stay away!" I often listen to it through headphones when I'm sitting in an airport and I'm irritated about flight delays, missed flights, etc. It's one beautiful piece of music. Nothing around today comes close...

I love that LP. 24 Hours A Day is a great track, but my fave on the album is 'All Time Loser'. I wasn't too crazy about that 12" 'remix' of 24 Hours A Day. It sounded like they took the 3 minute LP version and just repeated sections to stretch it out to 9 minutes.

There was a joke around years ago with Dj's in London - Ian Levine use to be big in Blackpool (N/Soul) and now he's huge. Funny, but green comes to mind.

Ian Levine was on TV 12 months ago looking very skinny & I was quite shocked as he looked so different, but it looks like he's put the weight back on. Could he be the new Luther Vandross? :-?

DD didn't say when the photo was taken. Maybe it's not as recent as he thought. DD, if you're out there who is the guy with Ian in the 70s photo? He looks like he's doing an impression of Rigsby from 'Rising Damp'! :o  (sorry to the US/Euro guys as that is a very British/70s reference).
