Yesterday, the funfair-attraction of one of my collegues collapsed and hit a house. Was I protected by the Discogods, coz' the grey Mercedes SL you can see parked in the street is mine :o? It could have been my ex-sportscar :( Nobody was hurt luckily!

I'm surprised they put carnival rides so close to buildings.
The one's I've been to are usually in a wide open field.

No here funfairs usually are placed in the middle of the town.
And to clarify: the accident happened while they were building up, not when the attraction was open to the public. Insurance-experts are still trying to find out what exactly went wrong. That "Booster-ride" was only 1 year old.
