.A study done by the Ball State University states that surfing on the net and watching tele are more important for Americans than sleeping. The average American spends 9 hours daily before a PC- or televisionscreen or using their mobile. One third of that time they even use 2 or more types of multimedia.

My fellow Americans is this true? Are you all screen-addicts or do some of you spend time in the garden as well?

I spend about 10 hours online a week, watch about 10 hours of TV (mostly news or baseball), and do not have a cell phone. I can't stand cell phones and see little reason for having them for personal use.
We used to have a garden but work, music, and helping out family take up most of my time.
