1) "Who Is He and What Is He To You" originally by Bill Withers; disco version by Creative Source
2) Executive Suite "When The Fuel Runs Out"
3) "Zulu"- The Quick (not positive; can't play the record cause my receiver is in the shop)
Here it goes:
1. Whoooooo is heeeeeeeeee.....pause
What is he to you hoo
(most likely a group but the lead singer is a man, maybe early 70's)
2.When The Fuel Runs out
(another early 70's song, Funky Dude mentioned this song on different occasions)
3.Pick up your spear and fight
Now that the time is right
Zulu Man ooohh aahh, ooohh aahh
Now that the stars are bright
Run like the wind tonight
Zulu Man ooohh aahh, ooohh aahh
(male singer or group, maybe late 70's - early 80's)

Thanks for the info Marky! I never heard of this group "The Quick" they sound very obscure, meaning that it will be difficult for me to find.On 2002-07-15 01:06, markydefad wrote:

Hustlebaby,
The Quick were a British synth/ funk group that had a few hits in the early '80's.
Look for the LP "Fascinating Rhythm" (Epic/1982) in the used bins. I don't think these cuts are on CD. At least, I've not seen them on anything.
That LP (with some additional production from John Luongo) also has "Rhythm Of the Jungle", "Young Men Drive Fast", "One Light In a Blackout", "Zulu" and my fave "Sharks Are Cool, Jets Are Hot" (a Troc fave).
The LP cuts are not extended, so you may want the 12" versions. BUT the LP has all the songs. Good Luck Shopping!!!!
