Madeleine Bell and Sue Glover both did backup vocals on Donna Summer's "A Love Trilogy" and "Four Seasons Of Love" albums, along with Sunny Leslie. I think this is the same Madeleine Bell who recorded a version of Blood Sweat and Tears' 1969 hit "You've Made Me So Very Happy".

Madeline Bell had a hit in the USA with I'M GONNA MAKE YOU LOVE ME; it went to #26 on the pop charts in 1968. The Temptations & Miss Ross & the Supremes covered it on a TV special and had their own hit--went to #2.

Miss Bell sang a whole lotta background vocals and lead vocals for SPACE; think MY LOVE IS MUSIC

strangely madeline had no hits here except with blue mink who had lots of records on the charts like banner man, good morning freedom, and the biggest melting pot ,did they chart there? [late 60s to early 70s] actually american but i think she stopped off in london and stayed,i think we all consider her english worked with dusty too and the big rumour when i was a kid was thet they were lovers, i dont know how true that was :o

This week in 1970 on the Billboard Hot 100 (Sept. 26, 1970), Blue Mink debuted at #90 with "Our World".

    lp's we all know.
Can anyone name some disco they were on?
    aside from,
    love and kisses
    donna summer
    madeline kane
    alic r c
    cerrone.

does anyone know what englebert track theyr on?
i think the best vocals ms bell ever did was on madeline's
    Forbiden Love... timeless masterpice!
and the vocals were good on the rough diamond lp too!
    fever is a hot track!
    thanks.

Apparently, the guy in love & Kisses was originally in the original Brotherhood of man of 'united we stand' fame. Can anybody confirm this?
