    A side / B side #5

    *****

*** I'm looking at my promo 12" copy of Amii Stewart's "KNOCK ON WOOD" 1978 .. Ariola Records

Both sides are listed as Side "A" --- yet one side clocks at 6:10 and one at 6:13 .

    Ah, here's the reason :

    SIDE "A" # 1 is labeled as the "____?? ____" version
    SIDE "A" # 2 is labeled as the "____ ?? ____" version

    I've never seen this done before ..... :-? (?)

What is the distinction between the two versions?
    ????? :-? :-?

No, you're not crazy. Supposedly, the "Fast Disco" is the original 'A-side' mix and the "Slow Disco" is the 'A-side' remix (A/S RE 1). I didn't play this enough to care if it was different or not. At 140+ bpms there was nothing slow about it.

That should be a forum topic...bathroom break records.....mine were:
    Donna Summer- MacArthur Park Suite
    Trammps- Disco Inferno
The Medley of Hits 1979....bootleg mix...was like 20 min. long.....awesome medley.....
also the length of the bathroom break record depended on what (or who) you were doing in the bathroom......
