    Linda Taylor

Can any of you guys tell me about a UK based singer called Linda taylor ? I believe she is/was a session singer who worked for PWL in the 80s/90s and I have a hi-nrg track on Nightmare called EVERY WAKING HOUR which is pretty good. Did she release any other solo material on 12" or album/CD ?

There are a few releases listed for her on Discogs.com here: http://www.discogs.com/artist/Linda+Taylor

Though the only track I know of by Linda Taylor was a cover of the E.G. Daily hit "Love In The Shadows" that came out in the very early 90s on Almighty records.

I think she did a track called 'You And Me Just Started' before the almighty days. Was a big club hit

She sang for Morrissey Mullen in the early 80s, a similar UK jazz-funk group.

Oh fabulous thanx, if a little too hot pour moi (it was around 90 degrees most days - we didn't expect NY to be that hot in September). We saw most areas - Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, Staten Island & even the legendary Fire Island! (very briefly!) I shopped for vinyl (Vinyl Mania & A1 - fabby), hit bars in Greenwich Village, visited a club owned by Timmy Regisford (house music, of course), went to the zoo, saw J-Lo coming out of a swishy hotel (great skin but big ass!), mastered the underground (sort of) & had some of the best food I've ever tasted! People in NY initially seem grouchy & rude but once you get to know them they're polite & down-to-earth people who like to keep it real!

I got CDs by Oh Romeo (brilliant), Kano, Lime & Gino Soccio in Vinyl Mania. Tower were disappointing for disco, I got lots of jazzy stuff there though like Hubert Laws & John Klemmer. Hope you enjoy NY as much as I did; I'd love to go again.
