It may also be a cover of the Myers tune by Chante' Moore or Robin S. I can't remember a sax at the end of the song though.
There is also a track called "I want to thank you" by By All Means on Island records from 1988. They were a great soul group who sang backgrounds for Gerald Alston when he was at Motown. They had both male and female singers and would trade leads.

I figured it out! It must be "Here's to you" by Skyy. The solo is a synthesizer and not a saxophone though. Definitely check this out.
