There's a full lenght 12" version and a superior, more constructed & kicking 7" edit, credited to Cerrone, featuring Santana. Heard the 7-inch getting play in New York last winter in a house set, sounded wonderful.
What group did Cerrone do the track "Cycle Woman" for? And what LP and year was it on...not his live version from the Paris '83 LP but the original...any help would be apreciated :)

Do you know what year it was released? Cause I have every single studio Cerrone LP (minus 2 of the French action/porn soundtracks) credited under his name from 75 all the way to 2002 and its not on any of em, and my friend recently made me aware of this track and was totaly new to me. Was it a single only release or was it on one of those 2 soundtracks maybe? Any info would be apreciated as im interested to hear the studio recording :)
It's actually called "Cycle's Woman", not "Cycle Woman". Year of release was 1983. A 11-minute version is available on his 1983 Live In Paris concert album. It's long, furious, ultrapercussive and all that but still I think the 7-inch is the one. It was apparently a single-only release, it's not at least on any of the Brigade Mondaine soundtracks "Brigade Mondaine", "B. M: Secte de Marrakech" or "B.M: Vaudou aux Caraibes".
