WHAT DO YOU THINK OF COMPANY B ETC. HINRG OR NOT.

I like all the Company B singles along with other Ish productions. Although called freestyle, 'Fascinated' sounded hinrg-ish. Your opinions.

    Hi Dave
Good question... I love FASCINATED but have never really classed it in the "Hi-nrg" mould.. I would personally call it a great electro track. It is a personal favourite of mine and one of the finest tracks of the 80s. I actually found a Company B album the other day - released in 1989 called "Gotta Dance". It is OK but nothing really "stands out". It obviously came towards the end of their career...I wounder if you can buy a Company B hits/best of CD ??

Ive got the first LP. 'Signed in your book of Love' and 'Full Circle' are great (along with 'Fascinated').
The other Ish produced tracks are great. Promise Circle and Apollonia. I love the Apollonia track 'Since I fell for you'.

I have a track called BE MINE TONIGHT by PROMISE CIRCLE. It is on volume XI of the gay classics series released by HOT records in 1995 - good track !!
Ish produced some good material - I especially love the track he did with Michelle Goulet in 1988 called OVER + OVER + OVER

    Hey guys :)

I'd always had Comp B Fascinated filed in my House collection. Yet another hybrid, defying genres.

I think I would have classed them as Freestyle if I had to but "Fascinated" was really a genre crossing record that was played in so many different types of clubs.

It is basically a mixture of different sounds - electro/Hinrg/house - That is probably why it is a true classic !
