Kay Gees - Keep On Saying (futuristic uptempo break at 4:19)

Hi all. Listening to "Keep On Saying" by the Kay Gees, I've noticed from 4:19 to 4:34 there's a 15 second uptempo synthesized break which sounds like this song has timewarped from 1976 to 1979/80 for a brief period of time :D which is kind of odd for the song but real cool :D !

I was wondering if anyone has any comments on this and also is there a version of this song with an extended version of that uptempo break?

Wish I could help Funky Dude. This band was big in Connecticut at the time and I had one of their albums. Unfortunately I remember selling it as a starving student in the very early 80s. Hold on to those albums man. I truly envy you 8)
