Dennis Coffee/Mike Theodore - Sndtrk To Banned Horror Movie?

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the soundtrack to a seems to have been banned horror movie called "Mardi Gras Massacre" from 1978. I found this while doin some research on Mike Theodore and it seems this was all original disco music for this film. The info I found out was basicly this thing was banned and from some of the descriptions of the film scenes..it does sound pretty damn sick LOL. Im interested to know if anyone has ever seen this film or has a soundtrack and could tell me if the music is any good.

There was no soundtrack listing at the internet movie database.

There was this review however. I think I'll skip this one.

This one's got it all...bad acting, "exotic" dancers, evil hookers, a bloodthirsty madman, bondage, torture, girl-fights, disco, bumbling cops, a "falling-in-love" montage, drug dealing pimps, disemboweling, an Aztec goddess of evil, a cheezy bachelor pad/sacrificial altar, and street scenes where passers-by stare blankly at the camera unaware that they are extras in a piece of cinematic poop. This all-time classic is not to be missed. Ten filthy stars.

thats quite a tame discription to what i read about some of the scenes in depth LOL im interested in finding out about the music. IMDB wont list a soundtrack to something obscure like that..for instance if you look up "Winds Of Change" and "Trocadero Bleu Citron" there will be no mentions to the Costandinos LPs

The IMDB soundtrack listing option is usually crap (but that's about the only bad thing about the site imo)
It seems to me that a soundtrack has to have seen a cd release and still be in print in order to get listed.
So much for Costandinos then...

Banned, where, by whom? Didn't the slightly cut version get an R rating in the States? It's just a cheap slasher of the kind that has dated badly, nothing to get your knickers in a twist about. Not really trashy enough to be of interest, nor outrageously gory enough to compete in that area. I recall there being some discoey music of the kind we got in "Don't Go In The House" of the same vintage but it never stuck the sounds could possibly be by the magnificent Mike Theodore. Could it really be? Where did you get this information from?

this confirms what I've always suspected: lots of people think the information on the internet is complete, and that if something's not listed there then it doesn't exist. I know that several out of print recordings are not listed on the net because I've looked for them.
