Mari (is it MAR-ee or Ma-REE?) had several 12" import singles that didn't exactly catch on over here. Was she "BIG" in the U.K.? Sorta comparable to an updated 1980's version of Dusty with a Dusty Springfied beehive wig hairdo a'la' the B52s. Or maybe a more chanteusey Cyndi Lauper???
