I ran into an old survey I kept back in 1979.
This was a special AT40 countdown of the top 40 pop disco hits. From what I remember they used chart date from both the pop and disco charts.

Here is that top 40 list,with the pop chart peaks

This isn't MY personal Top 40. This is a compilation special countdown done based on a mix of both the pop and disco charts.

haha what a list,
you can get a good Belgian wedding party going by playing these tunes! getting all the old farts of their chairs, wiggling their behinds to the cheesiest discotunes on the planet.
aaaaaaahhh, those wedding parties. It's certainly a love-hate thing for me. Well, it's all OK for me when the wine and champagne have been flowing all night!
