Is this the same Boytronic that did the track "Bryllyant"? One of the icons of the New Beat movement.

they don't need a genre.. they are good.. you can play it with italo or new wave or whatever you want..

i personaly like the entire working model record..

recycled and diamond in loving arms(i think is the title) are my favorites..

For me it is Hi NRG, Bobby "O" style.

    The guys from Boytronic say:

""Don´t let me down", which sounded like Modern Talking in Italo Disco..."

Which - with all due respect - I don't agree.

    See here:

Press "bio" in the top menu.

    Hmmm,

Boytronic-Don't let me down(1988) belongs to Euro-Disco or German Disco; (also like Modern Talking, Fancy, CC Catch...)

This record is released on Metronome label, '88, Ger and
Boytronic-You released on Baby Rec, '84, Ita

Hard to say what it is?(which "style" of music)

    ...but, it

    Autotunes was very good

Working Model is a Great album... Peter Sawatzki is one of the best Synth romantics out there.. god bless his soul

There were rumors that Continental was going to be re-released... I don't know what is going on with it... but it's Great and rare on CD

Love For Sale and Heart and Machine, though not original Boytronic, also Great ... Haus-Hoinkis-panarifno wrpte great tunes

I sent Boytonic the following email:

    Hello there,

    In your bio, you say:

"Don´t let me down", which sounded like Modern Talking in Italo Disco La La Land made it to he charts in Germany, but stucked at position 48."

Honestly, to me it sounds much more like Bobby O's productions: The Flirts, Roni Griffiths, etc.

I don¹t see ANY (!) similarity to 80¹s German disco MT, CCC, BBB or the Austrians Joy, Joy Peters, etc.

While there might be some similarities with Italo NRG (not Italo DISCO) - see Fred Ventura: Higher, Ken Laszlo: Mary Ann, Alan Barry: Gimme, Gimme, etc.

    What do you think?

    Daniel Bazac
    New York

I received the following answer from Boytronic:

    Hi Daniel,

You are right, but the bio was written by a press guy quite a time ago...

Sometimes tastes and feels about music are felt differently with different people...

    Best regards from Hamburg
    Hayo

SO LOOKS LIKE I WAS RIGHT!

I'd class it as Eurodisco to be honest.
