Ah, Carrere Records...UK home of the "holiday hit"...they brought us such classics as "Spacer" by Sheila B Devotion, "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" by Dollar, "Dolce Vita" by Ryan Paris, "Words" by FR David, "Memory" by Menage, "J'aime La Vie" by Sandra Kim, "Happy Children" By P.Lion and, of course, all of Ottowan's UK releases, amongst many others!!! :lol: Has anybody got a favourite UK release from this label? Mine has to be "Face To Face Heart To Heart" by The Twins :lol:
P.S. Anorak fact...Carrere also released a cover version of Baltimora's "Tarzan Boy" by none other then Modern Romance!!! Ay Ay Ay Ay Moosey indeed!!!

if you like "Tarzan Boy" you'd be well advised to search out the album it appeared on. It's called, if I'm not mistaken, "Living in the Background" and has a WONderful ballad called "Pull the Wires". After I've had a couple beers I often try to sing it. But according to VH1, singer Baltimora died of AIDS several years ago. So sad.....
