Hi Dave - can you tell us anymore about this... New one on me!
Does everybody know the tracks by Hot Cold;
I can hear your voice and Lovce is like a game ( later covered by Tracy Spencer). Now, my question is...........are they Fun Fun under another name??
Hi Dave - can you tell us anymore about this... New one on me!
Don't Talk About It was another one by them, all great tracks. Not sure if they were Fun Fun or not, but now you mentioned it they do sound similar :)
i would not be surprised if they were one & the same.. HI-NRG "groups" tended to use the same session singers under different names.Originally Written by Andy Farley
Neil, they all came grom the 'Spagna' household. 'Love is like a game' came out in 1985 and typical 108-ish bpm Italo. 'I can hear your voice' came out in 1986. Good tracks though if you're into this type of stuff.
Cheers Dave - I will have to watch out for them on e-bay !!Originally Written by Davicillo

How about Fun Fun and Chip Chip ??
They are definitely NOT the same........I've seen videos of both and they look (and sound) different.Originally Written by Charlie Windle
I know, was just making a joke.
Hot Cold:
1. Don't Talk About It = Very danceable. Some Stock, Aitken and Waterman influences.
2. I Can Hear Your Voice = excellent Italo disco
3. Love Is Like A Game = another Italo. Very popular.
4. Just Gotta Tell Her = Italo disco. Nice.
Hey Dave
Just listening to that CD as I type.
Love the Shirley Lites track :) Quite a funky little number really.
That Hot Cold tune doesn't just sound like Fun Fun it's a complete rip-off of Gipsy Queen - Gipsy Queen. In fact so much so, I do believe only the words have been changed!!
Play GQ first then the Hot Cold - you'll see! ;)
Bonnie Bailey - nice track but hardly hi-nrg. (And doesn't sound dated at all - in that it'd fit into an Ibizan house set quite nicely.)
Phyllis Nelson - slow, but good.
DJ Encore? Hmmm - a bit too lightweight for me. (A cross between Space Brothers & Robert Miles) ;)
Tapps - Technique meets Steps! Like it tho.
Julius Brown - a Gibson Brother goes solo, bumps into Forrest and Ian Levine in a sauna in Kings Cross and lo - a record is born!
3rd Nation - Aha - THAT 3rd Nation! Got the 12"s - remixed by Rollo ;)
I'll be doing yours Friday matey.
Thanks very much. I just need to track down the Shirely Lites 12" now.
