hi discopsycho! you'll find it in Rhino's ""Phat Trax-Best of Old School-volume 7- also included are 12" versions of EW&F "Boogie Wonderland" and Taana Gardner's "Heartbeat"....great series,to boot!!
I was wondering if anyone out there knew where I can find the long version (over 10 minutes) of McFadden & Whitehead's "Ain't No Stopping Us Now" on cd. I have the 12" and have run across the title on a few various artist cd's, but none have the full length version.
Thanks in advance.

Check if this one's still available somehow somewhere:

It's also on WDAS 105.3 classic soul hits volume 5 (a 2 cd set) issued in 2000 on Collectables records.
This is the set that really got me into the uptempo stuff. Since hearing Butterball on WDAS in Philly present this disc in its entirety, I've never heard music the same. Honestly!
Thanks for the responses! I've already gone onto amazon and ordered some cd's. I ended up buying four!!
Check Out the "Risco Connection" version as well.
I have the Spanish version of "Ain't no stoppin' us now".
That song is amazing!
No nos a parar...
Who was first anyway?
Risco Connection or McFadden & Whitehead?
I have the Risco Connection version on cd. You're right, it is great. I had no idea it existed before I bought a compilation cd, and there it was. Since then, I have been known to play it four or five times in a row. I love the blending of salsa and disco.
I believe the McFadden and Whitehead version was first.
