Tina Charles & Edelweiss?

Hi all

So a friend of mine was just telling me about a 12" that he said was remixed by the guys who did Edelweiss "Bring Me Edelweiss" (I guess it had their Edelweiss flower logo on the sleeve) for a song by Tina Charles. I'd never heard of it before. He said it was a German import from around 1989. Have any of you heard of this and if it's any good?

OK, from a little work online I think the song is called "Go To Work On My Love," ring a bell to anyone?

I have the 12" on UK label MTR (MTR 12001). MTR stand for Michael Thompson Records - a mate of mine from London!!

The tracks itself is imho - a hi-nrg/house hybrid, but still bounces along quite nicely. (The scratching makes a weclome addition)

However the flip track Learn By Your Mistakes is defintely Hi-nrg!!

Well worth getting if you ask me. (And thanks for remind me about this tune!)
