    Rediscovering Gems!

I've found a couple of tunes, hiding in the wrong sections in my vinyl collection! Grrr

Being a typical Capricorn, I have to have everything "just so", with my music being split first by genre, then alphabetical and finally chronologically.

    And for some reason.........

Nicole - Don't You Want My Love was hiding in the disco section, along with:

O'Chi Brown - Whenever You Need Somebody
Stephanie Mills - Bit By Bit & The Medicine Song (both cool)

Anyone else recall Nicole's great hi-nrg feel track? (Her who sung New York Eyes)

PS: Why can't we upload photos here?

    Hey Davi :)

Just been listening to The Cage - Do What You Wanna Do on 12" (UK Metropolis 1982)

Superb and not one I was familiar with.

Nona Hendryx never made it big here eh!

John Luongo remixed and arranged by Rusty Egan! Now there's a strange partnership.

Great tune though. (Must go list it on ebay!!) ;)

    Hi guys
Just a quick message before I head for the boozer..
Nicole is one of my all time fave artists of the 80s/early 90s
What a cracking voice !! DON`T YOU WANT MY LOVE does haev that upbeat HINRG feel about it... Got the 12" in my collection and both her superb albums..
NONA HENDRYX is another gem - I adore her 1987 album FEMALE TROUBLE - Some great tracks produced by DAN HARTMAN

I think you can show a photo with the insert image tags but you have to already have it hosted online to create the link. Is this lovely image of Divine showing?

What I think you want to do is click the button marked 'IMG' (to insert the begin image HTML tag) above the box where you type your message. Then after clicking 'IMG' put the URL for the image you are linking to and then hit the 'IMG' button again (to insert the end image HTML tag).

So the image would show as this:

That means you like to work hard & play hard. I once went out with a Capricorn bloke for 3 months & it was like being caught in a whirlwind! It was never dull - he liked his booze!

Just typed "record shack" into the search option on Gemm.com and a few popped up I'd forgotten about / never heard of.

Sadie Nine - Let's Work It Out &
    Number One Lover

Don't remember them, but do recall her name.

And Video Kids - Woodpeckers From Space was released on R Shack? Good grief.

I have the Sadie Nine track "Lets work it out on 12" -It os OK but certainly not the best release by this legendery label! It was released towards the end of the Record shack catalogue before the company folded.
